About me
My Background
I have been working as a wedding photographer for a number of years now and have developed into a highly skilled photographer. I've been lucky enough to have some of my work recognised with awards as well as featuring in magazines and promo campaigns.
My love for photography began when I was in my teens. A friend of mine had just brought a DSLR camera and wanted to go try it out somewhere and suggested we go to the local airport and take shots of planes. I decided to join him and loved every second! As soon as I got home I purchased my first camera and never looked back.
After a while, my aviation photography hobby started to become more of a part time job when airlines such as British Airways and Virgin Atlantic would purchase my images for advertisement purposes.
A family friend were getting married and had a photographer let them down and asked if I would step in. From then on I invested in better equipment, a new camera, started my website and began advertising my Wedding Photography services.
My Style of Photography
Throughout my career I have tried and tested many different styles which makes it very hard to say that I have one particular style of photography. My personal favourites are Traditional/Classic which consists of black & white images, lightly edited and staged poses (think of a wedding the most popular wedding photograph) and Lifestyle (this is where I will sneak into the background and get those candid shots of people acting normal having a laugh and a joke, basically all of the moments a couple getting married often miss)
One thing I always do with regards to my style of photography is try my upmost best to adapt and suit the needs of my clients whenever possible.
You'll find my images are a perfect mixture of organized and 'in the moment' shots.
Why Me?
You're probably wondering "Why should I choose him as my photographer" and my honest answer to that would be do your research before hiring anyone, especially someone that is going to capture one of the most important days of your life!
We as photographers all have unique styles of capturing images, you need to choose the photographer who fits your criteria best.
I take multiple approaches to best suit you and what you want to achieve. I'll never make any demands or overrule you with any final decisions (of course I'll have suggestions and ideas) - the final decision will be with you.
Alongside this, I'm someone who likes to have pre-session meet ups and/or phone calls to establish a friendly, working connection between us. This helps with chemistry on the big day and putting you at ease instantly.
